총재 / 이원익 President / Edward Wonik Yi

이원익 총재는 12살에 목사이신 부친을 따라 미국으로 이주, 뉴욕에서 거주하다 대학교 재학 중 시민권을 포기하고 한국으로 입국하였다. President Yi Won-Ik moved to the United States at the age of 12 with his father, a pastor, and lived in New York. During his university years, he gave up his U.S. citizenship and returned to Korea.

한국군 특전사에 자원입대하여 군 무술인 특공무술을 개발 보급하다 1년간 연장하여 4년간의 군 복무를 마치고 미국으로 귀국해 이후 1982년 미국 텍사스 주립 대학교에서 민간인 상대로 처음으로 특공무술을 보급, 현재 450여 개의 체육관을 운영 중이다. He volunteered for the Korean Army Special Warfare Command (ROKA) and developed and promoted the martial art of Teukgong Musul. After extending his service for an additional year, he completed four years of military service and returned to the U.S. In 1982, he began spreading Teukgong Musul to civilians at the University of Texas, and currently, there are more than 450 gyms operating.

1986년 세계특공 무술연맹을 창립, 현재 연맹총재직과 함께 GROUP TK라는 6개의 글로벌 계열사를 운영하고 있다. 문무 겸비라는 인생철학으로 16편의 저서를 발간했으며, 400여명의 변호사, 600여 명의 교수 등 수많은 정치인을 배출하고 할리우드 영화계에도 몸 담고 있다. In 1986, he founded the World Teukgong Musul Federation and is currently the president of the federation, as well as the head of six global subsidiaries under GROUP TK. With the life philosophy of embodying both martial and literary prowess, he has published 16 books and has mentored over 400 lawyers, 600 professors, and numerous politicians. He has also been involved in Hollywood filmmaking.
